Meet Wayman
Wayman Howell is the Owner and Master Upholsterer of WaymansWay Upholstery, hence the name. A native of Kansas City, Kansas, Wayman was taught how to upholster by his father, Joe Howell. From his teachings, Wayman has perfected his craft over the years.
Custom Craftsmanship for over 30 years
In 1986, Wayman began to venture on his own leaving his father’s umbrella and establishing a name for himself in the Kansas City Area while working full time in the baking industry. Before moving to southern Illinois, Wayman also established himself in the Grand Rapids, Michigan. His hobby became his destiny.
Finally in 2012, Wayman was able to officially hit the market as WaymansWay Upholstery, converting his hobby into his full time career in Belleville, Illinois. He has partnered with his wife, LaFawn, to establish a dynamic name in the midwest as a whole.
